Our Style
Timeless Productions’ spectacular trademark compositions are known for the intimate and personal style in which they are produced. This is achieved initially through unique camera-work; we film unobtrusively on your wedding day and take great care to pinpoint the sentimental aspects of your day, culminating in truly personal footage.
The importance of the editing process can not be over-estimated; it definitively underlines the difference between amateurs and professionals. Using state-of-the-art editing software (Final Cut Pro – as used by many television companies, including the BBC), we carefully combine the best highlights of your day, working in time to the music. It is during this process that special effects are drafted into the original footage; these include everything from sound and image overlay to freeze frames. Timeless Productions use the most technical and professional effects currently available to create a sophisticated and artistic product – we tend to avoid the ‘cheesy’ effects such as ‘star wipes’! Our Equipment / Technical Information
- DVDs can be provided in either 4:3 or 16:9 format (i.e. normal screen or widescreen)
- Timeless Productions shoot all footage with a professional Sony HVR Z1E HD camcorder and edit with the latest version of Final Cut Pro software
- Sound is captured using three alternating microphones; an internal camera microphone; a ‘shot-gun’ microphone; and a miniature Seinnheiser clip-on microphone
- For poorly lit areas, Timeless Productions use a small level-controllable spotlight which attaches to the top of the camcorder
- Depending on the wedding package, the length of the DVD can last between 45 – 90 minutes.
About Seán
Timeless Productions was founded by Seán O’Donnell, a professionally educated videographer. Sean personally conducts every section of his business including meeting with couples, filming, editing, and distributing. Occasionally, for large weddings or situations where the bride and groom live some distance apart, Seán will draft in another experienced and professionally-educated camera-person to assist him. This will always be discussed with clients prior to booking and provided at no extra cost.

My Ethos
I am incredibly passionate about what I do and take immense pride in all aspects of my work. I work hard to be the best in my field through precision and understanding of people's individual requirements. Obtaining positive feedback from everyone I work with is very important to me, not least because videography is very much a word-of-mouth business. I aim to pioneer a new era of stunning, modern, personalised DVDs at fantastic affordable prices.
My experience
I have been actively involved in the media industry dedicating studies of videography for over several years. Aside from innovating a modern style for wedding DVDs, I am affiliated with several outside projects. In recent years, I have filmed and edited large projects for the Pushkin Trust organisation, as well as working on private projects for the Omagh Institute of Technology. In the public sector, I have filmed and edited numerous weddings and civil ceremonies, birthday celebrations, family reunions, sporting events and documentaries. I love diversity throughout my projects and have confidence in my abilities to take on any task.
My qualifications
After two years of Media Studies at the North East Institute in Ballymena, I continued to the University of Ulster at Coleraine where I completed a three year honours degree in advanced Media Studies. Following this, I further perfected my craft with a prestigious Masters Degree in Film, Television Management and Policy.
