Welcome to the new blog
He's Behind You!
A first for me. This past weekend I experimented with a two-camera shoot when filming the Glenravel Pantomime. I took charge of the main camera whilst I talked my partner Charlene into climbing a 20ft Scaffold and film from the rafters. Not being great with heights, you can imagine her reaction when I asked her to do this!
The Pantomime turned out great. A lot of talented actors were involved, including my own father and sister, who opened the show with a solo song. She sounded amazing!
The editing was fun; like nothing I’ve ever tried before! It was like editing a live TV show by clicking on the different angle for each shot.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sean McAuley from Cave Video Productions for the use of his camera.

Jingle Bells
Editing all complete. Emails all answered. House is clean. And the smell of the turkey cooking in the oven is driving me to uncontrollable temptation!
Santa came bang on time, but seemed to be sending me very subtle messages. Amidst my gifts, I found a slow cooker and a recipe book. Thanks Mr. Claus, my days of eating takeaways are truly over now!
Happy Christmas everyone!
Filming is Snow Problem
This past weekend was a challenging experience – I braved the winter wonderland in the nether regions of Donegal to film the wedding of Hannah Gillespie and Neil Patterson which took place in Rathmullan House Hotel. The roads may have been tricky to navigate but the snow-topped scenery was stunning and added that magical touch to the wedding day. Hannah and Neil were a lovely relaxed couple and great fun to work with. I think they’ll spend the first half of their honeymoon thawing out! Have a great time, guys!
